They've recently released a short clip from season 2 of the Witcher. I had the great pleasure of painting textures on this guy at ILM. We were a small team with a quick turnaround. This is a fully CG head replacement, the actor wore prosthetic hands and a partial head that was removed and replaced with our asset. It's definitely worth a mention, this head model started out as a likeness for which we weren't given a scan in the start of the show. Marko sculpted the actor's likeness with only ref images from google and achieved a damn near one to one match, almost over night, before transforming him into the creature seen on screen.
