I was responsible for the paint and lookdev work on the complete suit. Tom Holland's head was painted by Justin Holt. High poly model work by Jared Vincent. Yet another excellent challenge to paint... this suit is head to toe intricate. With line work and fine patterns flowing in all directions across complex shapes. This suit was totally unique and not something I felt could be painted procedurally in a time effective way. So all the greeblies in this suit are hand painted. I was given some photography to look at from the on set suit as well as some internal concepts with a more simplistic feel. I married the two looks together to get what you see here.. maintaining that fortnite look but also representing the same shapes and general feel as the movie suit.
